BACKGROUND

The Employer Branding Creativity Awards was first launched in 2017 to commemorate organizations for their effort in championing the thought leadership of employer branding. Ever since its launch, the awards have been recognized as a must-win for organizations aiming to set new standards for their employer brand activities.

Although the perception of employer brand has never stopped evolving, one understanding remains clear is that a strong employer brand is seen as the essential core of organizations. Employer brand is not just about recruitment adverts or about being a well-known organization; it’s about the ethics, the values and how it is manifested from the start of the employee recruitment process throughout the whole employee journey.

The recruitment and retention of talent has been an ongoing issue for many organizations with each trying to compete with another in the war for talent. In order to build a sustainable competitive advantage, an employer brand not only needs to be interesting, innovative and creative but also needs to be engaging and relevant to the values of talents. Excellent employer brand ideas and value propositions must be built on well-developed communication strategies.
